Sean Bandy made the trip back to Columbus this year for state and was hoping to bring home another state championship to St. Xavier. Last season Bandy and fellow teammate Brad Sena advanced to the second round of the state tournament. This trip was hoping to be different one for Bandy and his partner Fovel. After easily defeating Eisenberg and Kanam from Massilion Jackson 6-3, 6-0 in round one they set their sights on a doubles pair from New Albany. Once again, Bandy was unable to make it past the second round and the Bomber pair fell in a tough 3 set match. Fovel and Bandy won the first set 6-4, but fell 1-6 and 4-6 in the final two sets marking an end of a great season.
